Yesterday, we held our 2026 Washington Health Policy Commons event. With about 250 attendees and 63 speakers, it was one of the most diverse gatherings of senior health care executives and health policy leaders from across the state.
Honestly, it was amazing. It was such a nice time getting so many folks together at work trying to improve the system on behalf of the communities they serve.
Here is a key quote from Gov. Bob Ferguson that I think summed up some of the sentiment from the whole day.
What I find most helpful is being open to change, and being creative in solutions. In my experience, status quo isn’t going to cut it. It doesn’t cut it under normal times, and it sure as hell doesn’t cut it right now.
